TAKING THEM SERIOUSLY

Then there was two
Kayakers who were enjoying the big blue got a bit more adventure than they wanted when a great white took a chomp out of their craft here on Moonstone Beach in Cambria. There is always a bit danger at the shore.
Today however there is another seasonal warning.
I know some folks worry about the "nanny state" intrusion
into lives, however I'm grateful for the San Luis Obispo County Health Department diligence.

BEACH SIDE SCENES
Despite the warnings
Driftwood builders have been busy.......almost as busy as this guy
See you down the trail.
Gee and here I thought Central California was paradise. But no! Sharks, bad mussels and clams. What's next? A red tide?
ReplyDeleteWe certainly hope not. I thought that was a Gulf Coast issue.
DeleteBeautiful pictures. I would definitely take those signs about sharks seriously. I have a fear of them (and a healthy respect) and won't watch anything on TV with sharks on nights when I swim the next morning. I know there's a hole in the bottom of the pool that sharks can swim through. Actually, I don't really believe this, but I think about it.
ReplyDeleteWhen I produced and or directed television documentary programs I got to know the man who invented "Shark Week" for the Discovery Channel. I don't think he foresaw it becoming the kind of thing it has.
DeleteThen there WERE two.
ReplyDeleteWhatever! =-w-=
=w=
DeleteI really wrestled with this and had an idea that if it was (were) wrong, I'd hear about it.
