The First

the front
The western sky performed a dramatic rain dance.
It delivered. The California central coast is getting its first measurable rain of the season. Looks like the soaking will extend into Sunday evening. It is welcome.

      See you down the trail.

  1. Tom, we're north of you and 80 miles inland, got our 1st full day of rain yesterday and the sky is clouding up again this afternoon. Hooray!

  2. Bad news in Washington and Oregon, though, as heavy winds and too much rain is causing damage.

  4. Down here on what seems to be called the "south coast" (which is not REALLY the south coast as we are at least 90 miles north of LA; however, it is the south FACING coast) we are getting barely measurable rain late Sunday night while precipitation pundits are calling for an arid winter.
