The "Super Bloom"

The anticipated super bloom has begun.

California back roads are alive with extraordinary color and vitality.

If you can't make it to Shell Creek road or Highway 58, here's your tour.

Amen!

See you down the trail.

  1. Wow! Quite the bloom. A wonderful time to be in NoCal. I remember my time at UCB, living in Sebastopol, seeing the hills of Sonoma Co during this period.

  2. So beautiful! My gardening self wants to know what kind of flowers there are.

    1. I wish I could be more helpful. The blue flower is a Fiesta flower. The yellow resemble a kind of wild daisy. The orange, of which there are no close up, but there are clumps in a shot or two are California poppies. The remainder? I have not a clue. Tom Cambria
