As another weekend of winter blasts much of the US, these snaps from the drive and street of our Indiana home, in a winter past, are enough to bring back bad memories and trigger my sympathy to those of you who must endure.

ReplyDeleteThe maintenance on a bridge like this, so exposed to the elements, must be incredible. I don't know if my tendency would be to drive slowly or as quickly as possible.
ReplyDeleteThere is a section of 1A on the short coastline of New Hampshire where I got buckets of saltwater splashed into my MGB as a wave broke over the road. Nice wake up call on a cool fall afternoon.
