(Note spelling.) ...Great pictures of the capitol. (Note spelling.) I had to refer to The Google to be sure but capital refers mainly to "a stock of accumulated goods." The capital is the city serving as the seat of government. The capitol is the building where the state legislature meets and/or a group of buildings in which the functions of state government are carried out. And the Capitol (first letter capitalized) is where the U.S. Congress meets in Washington, D.C.<br /><br />I know. It's complicated.
